Same exact story here - didn't think to plug in the sump - 4" of water throughout the basement / playroom. My wife's comment - "I'll bet you didn't forget to check the pump on the boat!" - Damn - she knows me too well.

We have had such massive flooding in my town that they declared a state of emergency yesterday. There are people here that lived through the 38 hurricane and say this flooding is worse.
Me, my roof leaked and had about 3 " of water in the basement. But I live high on a hill. Not so bad

I had about an inch throughout my basement. SPent Saturday morning s#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g it out with the shop vac. Got it pretty dry. Went to the inlaws then the canal saturday night. Got back sunday night and most of it was back :doh:
