I like your "Four Boat Theory©" very much, however I would have to throw a sailboat in there.

40-50 ft Cruising / Racing sailboat (Swan?)
30-40 ft Offshore sportfish (Egg?)
20-30 ft Inshore sportfish (Regulator?)
20-30 ft Racing Sailboat (Etchell?)
17-20 ft bay boat/tender (Edgewater?)

OK, I just changed it to a "Five Boat Theory©" because I would need a small crew racing sailboat as well.

yeah we were looking at the bigger diesel inboards, but we decided that i dont have the patience to go that slow. (all the diesel inboards we could afford were too slow, and the fast ones, way way out of my price range).

i tried chasing a 40 ft cabo express in our mako...at WFO i was just barely gaining on him...i was doing 44 mph according to my gps. i think that boat goes for about 800k new.

so we stuck with outboards, which is what we know. so far it's fast enough. we often cruise at 4500 rpms which is 38 mph and 1.1 mpg.

one day once my powerball number hits:

it's kinda weird...like a center console/walkaround/express...

gives up cabin space compared to the newer layout in exchange for more space on the bridgedeck area. for what we do it was perfect.

The 25' looks nice with a honda 130

if you mean the panga 20, it would go with a 50 hp. but I'd put a 60-70 hp on it.
beam is 6'-1"
