Sorry to hear that Chris. It seems when bad things happen they happen close to one another. WIth my family it was the same thing. I'm glad to hear he got some time to enjoy some good years. Thats why I always tell people, don't wait to things, do them NOW. My father hoped to finally do some fishing when he retired but he became sick and then passed on without having the chance to do much. He fought in Korea as well -Marines.

Or society is so focused on saving and planning for retirement and with the average life span on the rise everyone is fooled into thinking they too will live to be 76 or so (if you're a man). But those numbers are skewed by a lot of old codgers pushing 90 in a nursing home.
Sure if your're sixty and healthy you'll probably make it to retirement - but less than 50% of men see age 65.

My wife and family appreciate your thoughts and prayers .

yeah she sure does deserve that trip to Hawaii or maybe I could convince her that Alaska is more of a relaxing place to go . or maybe I could get her to NC later this month or next . maybe she would like to go rooster fishing in Mexico . Ill have to see what she wants to do .
