SWEET !!!!!
Congrats to "SCUP GIRL" and like I told that young lady, her dad could have thought of a better screen name!!!!!! Ya know like rainbow, sunset, sweet surf, something like that !!! (are you picking up what I'm putting down?)....:wiggle: :wiggle: :D Nice rod anyway ENJOY....Sorry,, no Kayak or van staal to go along with it. |
Yea I think after this we will have to change the name! But it was Bigfish who branded her with the Scup girl name not mine. that was a few years ago when all she did was scup.
All I have to say is if she gets a 40 this year I am snaping that rod in half!!:laughs: |
i like that name tho
scup girl....
but when she catches a 40lb striper then maybe she'll deserve a more befitting title.... careful about snappin her ROD Mako ! she might just push you over board and then drive the boat in circles around ya until you promise to replace it....:bl: |
That thing will never see the boat! Its 1/2 the leanth of the boat! Way to long!
Just going to have to take her to the beach, Dam I wish they didn't want so much for the beach stickers now a days. |
Congrats. That's a great rod. I didn't enter because I have one already. She's gonna love that thing, a 10' rod that casts as easily as an 8' one.
I think a Stradic or Spheros 8000 would be a great fit for that reel. They're smooth, they both spool line evenly, and the Spheros can even take a little dunking. Not as bulletproof as a 704, but there's a learning curve with a 704, even if you run mono on it. Nothing frustrates as much as wind knots. |
Congrats to your daughter!
