I don't get the whole yard sale reference. You posted something for sale on the internet and someone agreed to buy it. It's not a yard sale and it's not about who put the money in your hand first. You knew someone else was trying to get them.

GS, you're wrong. If you're going to hide behind that yard sale mentality then put them out on your lawn, not on the internet.

I know I have no dog in this fight but I've bought and sold between one and two gajillion things on these boards and have never heard of a phone call being required to close a sale... my two cents, that's kinda goofy and definately not common practice.. :doh:
