Perhaps a misprint. Probably meant 20.5 I had a 43" fish in May that went 25.2#

One thing I have learned from being on these forums for a while is to bite my togue (or keyboard) if I think a pic and wieght post is BS. Luckily, this one didn't turn into a chit storm, but we've all seen it happen. That said, if you are going to post a pic of a fish and want to post wieght and everything, you should probably put it next to a tape measure or a rod and reel so there is something to compare. You never know how tall/short or fat/skinny somebody really is so just holding it doesn't always do it justice.

Sorry I ruffled everyones feathers. It just irritates me that this is a fishing site but MANY times I have seen someone post a pic of their fish and...alas.....here come the critics. "fish killer", "your holding it wrong", "thats no thirty pounder","Spot burner" (which by the way is my favorite because if they knew where the pic was taken by the photo alone, then they already know of that spot!!!) etc., etc...doesnt seem like people can post pics of fish freely without speculation is what I am getting at.
One thing I do know is that if I ever DO catch something like a 50 pounder someday, the only people that will ever see it will be me,my family and friends, oh and the taxidermist (yes thats right, I'd kill it) . Accoring to majority rule my scale must be off by ten pounds and my tape measure must be in centimeters instead of inches. My apologies and I will have to get them fixed so that I can never make this mistake again... |
