Krispy 10-16-2006 11:24 AM

One Tobias needle is worth 30 plugs, now Ill be able to fish my other one :soon:

Lower 10-16-2006 12:28 PM

Looks like your about half way there. 15 in's and a few uncertains.

Tobias...you may want to start the Nov list with the I'm in's from this thread.

Guyver 10-17-2006 01:08 AM

If a "newbie" is allowed I would be honored to be included in this. :wavey: Some here have seen and hopefully fished my plugs and can tell me if I'm worthy or should wait till next year.:behead:

Slipknot 10-17-2006 06:53 AM

30 plugs is alot of plugs
as long as we ALL put hooks on them, I'm in. and as long as my back gets better.
and I hope they don't all have to be the same exact colors.
you're a brave man Tobias

Cranium 10-17-2006 07:35 AM

Well, with all the plugs I owe to people, having to make my own, a crazy 2 1/2 year old, work, and psychotic wife ....Whats 30 more. I am in.

I agree with Slip. Every plug needs hooks.

crash 10-17-2006 08:53 AM

I'm in if every body does hooks, I don't want to shell out for a ton of VMC's and then have to buy more. At least I'll have sometning to do this winter.

The Dad Fisherman 10-17-2006 09:10 AM

How about as another option Nobody puts hooks on....thay way you can put on what you want after the fact.

It doesn't matter to me.....I'm good either way

Guyver 10-17-2006 09:21 AM

I think the no hook option would make it a lot easier to ship, smaller package, and would eliminate hard feelings if some people put on 4x VMC's and others used something of lesser quality and the other builders felt they had to change them out costing them more money. Unless it's agreed that we all use the same hardware, swivels included. But I'm the new guy so I'll go with the flow and like it:hihi: .

*added: We could post here what size and style is recommended on the builders plug by the builder.

crash 10-17-2006 09:55 AM

Good point, we wouldn't need to use hook protectors etc either.

ProfessorM 10-17-2006 10:49 AM

I will miss Mac's comments , Tick tock better hurry up Larry:laugha:

Hey Vic the mullet colored pencil you gave me at the plugbash was getting inhaled by some mullet eating cows today.Very nice plug and it cast a coumtry mile doood. Thanks

J_T_R 10-17-2006 08:30 PM

okay i'm in. i would also like to vote on no hooks. it just makes everything simpler for everyone, plus it allows everyone to use the hardware they prefer.

Thumb-Burner 10-18-2006 08:38 PM

hmmmmmm????

Would you be interested in a 3 for 90 trade? (kidding andy... your plugs are staying in the south!!)

Arne P 10-19-2006 08:16 AM

Maybe I missed it but when would the plugs have to be finished by?
I might be interested but I'm slow. :wiggle:
No hooks for everyone makes sense - easier to ship and it takes no more time or money to put hooks on the plugs you get instead of the ones you make.

tobias 10-19-2006 09:24 AM

Deadline will probably be in March. Haven't set the deadline yet. Good to see you join Arne.

Can't wait to see a Krispy plug, not to many of those around:beat:

Arne P 10-19-2006 09:47 AM

I haven't really had the chance to make very many plugs for some time - too much to take care of - but I should be starting back up by December. March should be fine. :walk:

Guyver 10-19-2006 04:07 PM

Now the hard part is trying to decide what plug you want to make 30 of.  :uhoh:

No-one wants to admit they actually have one :yak6:

tobias 10-19-2006 07:48 PM

Krispy, I almost had to Ho Adam and Brian to get one of yours but they would only let me look at it. I'm very lucky to have two Krispy plugs. Thank you for your generosity!!!

PatrickD 10-21-2006 04:30 PM

I'm in.

I missed it last year and I regretted it or a long time.

Patrick D aka Digger

bigrock 10-21-2006 07:49 PM

If Digger is in, I'm in, if its OK. Whats another 30 plugs!!

surfer4life52 11-09-2006 09:54 AM

J_T_R 11-09-2006 04:12 PM

Tobias, i'm just throwing this out there- do you think it is a good idea to have an updated list of who is in this swap on the first post. i think it makes it really easy to see whos in it and find out how many plugs we will have to build. thanks

tobias 11-09-2006 05:54 PM

I'll try and start a new thread tonight showing all that interested. I think we are at about 28 participants.

Bill L 11-09-2006 07:13 PM

Damn, I thought this was another hottie thread :tooth:

crash 11-09-2006 09:56 PM

Ha, I already started turning for this, its the painting that takes me forever.
