Yes we need a few more weigh stations and an expansion of areas to fish. Why cram 11 clubs worth of fishermen between Naps and Narrow River? Weather conditions then further jams them together. Looked like Montauk a few times this weekend. Open it up and let us spread out. It's for a good cause after all is said and done. Shouldn't be too big a deal. DZ |
I must have it all wrong...I was out for 8 hours Saturday night and except for one b-way, I only saw 2 guys at the other spots I visited!

Jimmy - Saturday night - 6 trucks in one spot and 5 in another. That was before midnight. DZ |
Those were probably the spots that hold fish. I generally try to avoid those....:spin:

Reelecstacy-Thanks for the ride on the island.

Definitely agree with having more than one weigh in station and/or open more hours - I landed a 16 lb'er in the channel at 9.30 pm Saturday, headed off to Weekapaug (okay, NOW I know to take the sign to Misquamicut - seems a bit strange that there wasn't a single sign for Weekapaug!!! ), and got there for just after 10 pm. Shut tight. Back home for a nice Dallas Dhu (whisky), put the fish on ice. Had bragging rights next morning with the family - the fish was almost as tall as my 3 year old - then got over for the morning weigh-in.......at 9.15. Too late. Again. Kinda put a bit of a damper on it, really. Otherwise, had a blast and will look forward to next year's tournament.
