Did you guys hear the report this weekend that the reason they got stuck on that road was because some vandals (translated = Punk Kids) cut the lock to the gate that closes that road.

that road is always locked shut in the winter months so something like this doesn't happen.....terrible, hope they find them and string them up

They followed the map, they knew what road they were on but got lost on unmarkerd roads. I'm an expericened traveler and have gotten lost in well marker cities. When I moved to the west coast, I couldnt belevie people used chains on their tires and that roads were clsoed from the snow. Growing up in the northeast, I figured it was just a bunch of west coast wimps. Until.....I experienced my first winter in the Sierras. Those storms are MUCH worse than anything we get here. I can only imagine Oregon is the same thing.
