How many times have you smacked your head on plugs?

Karl F 12-17-2006 09:29 AM

I'm a foot shorter than you Flap, and I'm d#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g, just looking at the pictures....
you must kneel in front of your lathe ;)
them plugs gonna get dusty!

if this weather don't change, you will be looking for herring soon, instead of ice fishing...

Tagger 12-17-2006 09:49 AM

WOW PISSA ..... Did you make that skin plug with the chain on the tray .. very interresting,,,bet it moves well .. I saw the predator section ..got wood predator ? I'd keep the sign .. I'd call it my swearing sign . every shop should have one .. When you hit your thumb with a hammer just turn and start swearing at the sign . You F$%#ng,C(&%$%^,B$%^$# MF&$%@#$... makes you feel better.

Flaptail 12-17-2006 04:50 PM

Eddy I made all the plugs on the chair and that eelskin swimmer swims great and goes down about 6-8 feet. And no, no wooden predators except yours.

George and I went to Red Top and M&D's today for supplies and Gearge needed a new Hot Pot lead melter. My work is okay but nothing like you and the others here. Need large Danny lips to finish this weeks turnings. Got an idea for Plugfest and I am sketching out the paint scheme before actual paint application, this is gonna be cool.

Your to modest .. You should enter something and I'd like to see George enter something serious. Canalman could 3peate this year. I'm thinking of stitching cured fish skin on wood to get a realistic effect ..still in Lab stage ...

In the sealer, Eddy. One was going to be for Flap, but now, after learning that he's trying to cut back, I think I'll get him an eel pot instead.

Flaptail 12-17-2006 06:25 PM

Luds, very nice (and organized!) Those Habs needles will bring quite a handsome sum in fifteen to 20 years, hang onto them. Nice!

Thanks. The OCD kicked in after I caught my last fish for the season. Looks alot different May-Sept.:gu:

numbskull 12-17-2006 06:35 PM

Luds, ask Santa for a jointed eel, all those needles can be bad for you.

And I got 15 more shots to go........boxes, and racks, and drawers full, plugs that have no chance of ever being used.........but someone else's turn for now. Here are two unusual ones to go, a very early BeachMaster swimmer, and an unusual needle from the Hyannis area, made with swivels belly and rear.
