That is doable with some programing skills. I wrote a short app a few years back that calculates moon phases and such. Probably similar stuff for tides, or link to a site that supplies the tides and run a few calculations.

I have been doin this for yrs with a pencil an paper.. At home an especially when I travel.I will note tides at different spots some are more that 2 hrs different. Map a plan for the evening..No time wasted.. Night can be short in the summer months.. If I had the program I would not be able to use it anyways.... puter turd.. |
I got this all figured out. I can tell as soon as I walk in the house that it is time to go fishing and it seems to run on a 28 day cycle.

Wow ! If you were really good you could hook it up to the laptop and take it with you! Then it could tell you what plug to use and where to cast, based on the latest up to the second observations!

I was hoping this thread was going to be about a prototype mechanical rubber eel that is programmed to move exactly like the real thing and sends out realistic vibrations and scent. It would also be bluefish proof and cost around $2 a piece, rigged :huh:
