I would lov to make it this year if possible. You guys always seem to have a great time and great stories. I'd love to experience it all first hand. Gotta clear it with the boss and see if she's interested.

Hi I am newbie what is party like?? What should I expect?? So I bring the wife??

Mr. Sandman 02-08-2007 09:26 AM

Fishon,

This is a good event because you get to meet a lot of good guys, talk fishing and share a few stories and laughs...not to mention good food , drink, prizes and entertainment. This year I will be getting back from an extened out of town trip with my entire crew on this date. It looks doubtful at the moment but I am working the problem. I would really like to go...its worth the trip. Last year I think some guys from NJ made the trip too.

RickBomba 02-09-2007 01:18 AM

The party is lots of fun...hey, who's going to bring what???
About to start a new thread.
Any and all donations of food, flatware, soda, etc will be greatly appreciated.
Later,
Bomba

Expect raffles, beer, trash talking, beer, Clammer's a$$, beer, bragging, beer, some razzing, beer, more of Clammer's a$$, cops on occasion, story telling, and probably a little more of Clammer's a$$. Definately bring the woman. My girl looks forward to this probably more than I do. She usually starts asking about the date for it before I quit fishing for the year. :tooth:

Island Girl 02-20-2007 06:27 PM

I'm going to try dragging moto there but it's hard to get him out of the house sometimes  I am sure we'll see you all there

UH...not to ask a stupid question but, what if it's not too cold to fish Satruday? Do we cancel/postpone? It would seem to me that to get together for the TFCTFN that it would actually have to be too cold to fish. I was in the post office yesterday and two mail carriers were talking about heading out on a charter after codfish. I've seen threads here on the topic as well. I guess this is just one risk to not having this event in mid January. Afterall most of the attendees are diehard fishing folks and heaven knows (as all their friends and family do) that they are prone to missing key gatherings due to sudden cases of "fish....itis".
