Thanks Mike P for the confirmation on that. I thought he was full of it too but I try to keep an open mind, thinking that maybe as he is in the industry he knows something about quality control at berkeley recently that I didn't know... plus I got a bad spool of it last fall so I was wondering if there was any link. I guess I'll just send the bad fireline back to the company and ask for an explanation + a new spool...

use bank sinkers. thats what the guys from suffix used in their demo, the line was up against a piece of sheet metal. on hte other end someone or something pulls the line.

Seriously - this does look worthy of a repeat and as said - some controls would be nice. How would one measure than apply consistant pressure time in and again?
