bluefish go into deep offshore water in the winter...they were probably scooped up by a dragger.

okay, i went out yesterday to see what i could catch and i did manage to catch one small striper and have spoken with a couple of guys that have been catching small schoolies on the south shore, but definitely no blues. i'm waiting to hear about squid in edgartown.

I said the bass were back on the island..... and blues on the cape..... the blues often will go by the islands to the cape for a couple weeks or so, then come back to the islands.
