So are you in or are you out? I mean just by Saying "I'm In" you lost 10 lbs.

and as soon as You said you were out you put it right back on

Jenn 01-02-2008 09:42 PM

I have been hating myself pretty bad for the last few weeks of eating (nevermind the last few years)and just validated it on the scale. I am even forgoing the "ladies option" just so I can shame myself openly and turn that into motivation to loose!

...ok...here goes......a dose of tough love for myself!

I am in at the big 200 even:err:

BigFish 01-02-2008 10:07 PM

Ed...stop fiddlin' with that dial on your scale!:hihi:

JohnR 01-02-2008 10:45 PM

Should call this the S-B (Loose a) Leg Tourney

At the second heaviest (but not second tallest) of the bunch so far, I humbly add myself in at %#^&:af: ,err, 303 - within 10 pounds of my all time high (last year this time) and 16 over my best weight of the last year. Of course I could take a laxative and slip in lighter than Larry but alas, honesty and integrity and all that crap.

What finally made me do it you ask? Last year when I worked at the school district, the Middle School ran a "Biggest Looser" challenge among the staff and some people did real well. In fact, the winner is a S-B member here :bl:. I didn't do it expecting some knee work that never materialized. I managed to enter the second, smaller "Biggest Loser" Challenge and came in second, since having gained more than half of that back.

So I hang my fat ass in shame and join this merry rag-tag band of misfits and ne'er do wells :wall:

Any negative comments or Fat A$$ remarks will be met swiftly and deliberately...

BigFish 01-02-2008 10:54 PM

Ummmmmm.....errrr.....:hidin:.....just so you know John....I had just stuffed "3" count them "3" large steak and cheese subs down my pie hole with onions just before I weighed my self!!! Those were probably good for a pound a piece!!!:laughs:

Here are the rules for the challenge.

1. Entry fee is 1 Wooden Plug

2. Competition will be based on percentage of weight lost (Weight Lost / Weight at Start = Percentage Lost) not on actual pounds.

3. To get in just post in this thread "I'm In" by 12 midnight on January 2nd (Relax and enjoy New Years Day) and post your starting weight, A Pic is Optional......its just for reference. If anyone would like to take the "Lady Angler" option just Say "I'm In with the Lady Angler Option" when they enter, then they can just PM me their starting weight and their updates and I will just post your Percentages only at the update intervals.

4. On the 1st and 15th of every month post how much you've lost and we'll figure out what your percentage is.

5. The contest ends May 1st 2008....just in time to hit the Suds. Post your Final Weight and we will see who the Winners are.

6 The Second place winner will receive 3 plugs and the 1st Place winner will receive the rest. Of course the 1st Place guy gets to pick 1st. :D

Thats it.

any questions feel free to ask

Too late to get in on the "Chub Club"? :laugha:
I was talking to Larry today. Told him how my wife and I bought an elyptical trianer for ourselves for Christmas. I've already started in on it. He suggested I try to get in on this.
I thought I was just bloated from water weight. Maybe I'm just bloated.:hidin::cheers:
I'm just about to the point of needing a new scale:laugha: At 270lbs., I give you; FatBob

whiplash 01-04-2008 01:05 PM

Just got back from the Doc's and received the great news that I am prediabetic:poke: Doc says if I loose 30 pounds and workout I can avoid the needle ,so that seems to be as good an incentive as ever

The Dad Fisherman 01-04-2008 02:12 PM
