Welcome to the boards :)

have to admit, the biggest fish i've ever caught, a 55 pound albacore tuna, was caught on ande #17, tied directly to a 2 ounce bucktail(no leader). took me about an hour to bring it to the boat, standing up on my 8' spinning meat stick. i use berkley now though.

I also am a fan of Big Game but I should add that at the recommendation of an old salt I ordered a couple spools of Royal Bonnyl fishing line in 20#. I told him I thought they didn't make it anymore but he assured me they brought it back....Anyway if you guys have any old mitchells with the stickers still in tact underneath the spools you'll see this and other lines mentioned......anyway yes they brought back the bonnyl..found it to be tough as nails abrasion resistant with VERY low memory. Fished hard and laid down loose it looks like string!! No coiling....nothing! It's brown in color which may turn off a few folks but I've caught lots of bass and blues on it over the last 2-3 years and have no complaints. It's got great knot strength too, or at least I'm assuming so cause I never had a knot fail on it.
