the single row AS bag.
had the same problem with the ripping, sewed it back with braid as well. its fine now, had it for 3+ years i think? its the perfect bag. |

Same here. Love the bag for its size and design but I go thru an AS belt bag per season as it is ripped to shreds. The hooks hang in the fabric and you have to rip it out. This is probably caused because I overload the bag. But that is part of the game, I am not going down there with 4 plugs and I am not lugging that big bag. Also every so often the hook hangs in the drain port. To fix this is a PIA as you have to remove the tubes to resolve. I would like to see a different material that is not a magnet for hooks on the inside of the bag, but again the design an size is ideal IMO. |
I've had the same problems with the hooks getting caught inside the AS, but it is an quick fix with a good set of cutters on your pliers. It does not happen often but occasionally. I prefer the shoulder strap to the belt which may sway my opinion. For the price you can't beat the AS. With VS you get what you pay for, but for me that is just too expensive.
