I'll be out again tonight and this weekend searching for one worth weighing in... |
Redlite...If you want someone to bait your hook for you, let me know. You need to be fishing, not wasting time catching/hooking eels...
|
Go get em mike. She must have one hell of a "hunny do" list for you in the winter.

good god. What kind of woman cancels the family vacation and says "honey- go fish!" GOOD GIRL!!!

landed this fatty last night for a new pb (36" to yellow tape),
42.5"L x 27"G = 38.72#, roughly ~using the formula. with the +/- factor, she tops my previous 33.5 best from last year ~~ even if i were to round down to 35#'s,,,,,, :jump1: :jump1: :jump1: very exciting CATCH, and it feels like i've turned a corner so to speak, with my ability to PLAY the bigger fish. on the same BITE there was a 39" fatgurl, C&R,,,,,,,,,, then a 36"er for the table. 5 casts, 3 eeeeels, 3 stripers!!! sorry about the funky angles, but i couldn't get her to fit inside the frame, and i wanted to make a clean release. :kewl: :kewl: :kewl: doan know why i didn't kill it for the Tourney, prolly because i didn't feel like it was BIG enuff. and i truly doan believe in killing our prey, unless it will impact the Team's totals or the family needs fish. from what i can figure we need sum 46#'ers and UP!! so hopefully, tonight will bring me a COW!! GO GET 'EM, MEN!! :jump: :jump: :jump: |
A few guys had fish in the high 30s from what I understand, but didn't weigh them in. Since you can only weigh one fish a week, weighing it would have shut you out for good.
Second through fifth get plaques, and we're not likely to even slip out of second. There's no reason to weigh a fish in unless it adds substantially to our score. If you want a pin, measure length and girth, do the math, and submit a form for a released fish pin. |
the voice of reason SPEAKS, again!!
thanks Mike P, i figured it was the right thing to do :kewl: :kewl: :kewl: |
