Not a bad jump from last week Bill,BTW how's the new Cruiser treating ya.

I was in the lovely city of Roxbury today gas was only1.97 not bad.
I like this trend of dropping gas prices, with the Holidays just around the corner every little bit helps us all.

I can't make the gas gauge move!!
I have driven 205 mi since I saw you and I have used less than 7 gal of diesel.
I am going to have to find a way to hide the decrease is fuel funding from my wife.

We are going to see it back under a buck, if oil keeps dropping.

Tell me about it.
The price is ~40% of what it was... trip costs for fuel would be sub-$400 instead of $850ish..
Would love to lock in for ~1500Gallons for Canyon season :smash:

I was thinking about buying an option on10,000 gal of gasoline futures and take delivery on it in June if things turn around. Now...where can I store it when it arrives?

Would be nice.
We would be much more inclined to run if the fuel was low; otherwise @4+/gal you end up waiting for weather AND reports, not just weather...

$1.63 today! Started to hear people on the radio referencing gas at below $1.00 a gallon. Who know. Also saw that the saudies have discovered new reserves and are adding capacity to ship 20% more fuel.

now that all the speculators have been bankrupted (hopefully) maybe the prices will be less volatile.

The IRVING station on Rt 1 in Norwood had it at $1.59 an $2.50 for diesel. As long as the home heating oil comes down similarly, I'll be happy.

There has never been a better time in my life to buy a BIG american SUV than right now. Industry needs to move them, fuel dirt cheap and looking to go even lower, and interest rates are lowest in years.

This past summer Obama that said we would never see $2.00 gas again...ever, and he was happy that fuel prices were up just thought the rate they went up was too fast. ...I wish that replay that over and over again.

Another thing, now that fuel prices are cheap and oil compaines are hurting...are we going to bail them out?:rotflmao:

I filled my tank for $1.47 / gal ( regular Unleaded ) last Friday.

Home heating oil is down as low as $1.89/gallon this morning. Most places are in the mid $1.90's to $2.00 in my area.

TheSpecialist 12-08-2008 11:57 AM

Home heating oil will probably stay right around 2 bucks a gallon for the winter, may even go up if the winter is as cold as today.
