Double Duty
Turkey Day Part 1 in Winthrop with my wifes family at 1200 followed by the Ludlow traditions in Wareham at 1630. Going to be some serious weight gainage today. :btu:

Eat at my brother-in-laws new house in Manchseter-by-the-sea. Was there before it was finished. Probably walk to Singing Beach with all the kids after dinner. Lament the fact that I again am at Singing Beach with no rod in hand. Throw the football with all the nieces and nephews. Drive back down friekin 128 with all the other wackos out for the hols.
God bless everyone............... |
Frank there are no fish up here anyways,
Spence sorry for your toe, I have been working for 9 hrs. a day for the last 3 weeks with a broken ankle talk about pain. Happy Thanksgiving everyone |

I guess we should be thankful we're both working :) -spence |
We are surprisingly busy for the economy which is good for me, or we are just low balling to get the work.
The most I have to do today is make the gravy |
Spence is 38 going on 72. He makes me feel young and I'm 61.
Jeff, sorry to hear about the mishap. Hope you, Danna and Griffie have a great day in newport. If it were Christmas I'd invite you to "The Farm" for one of the 9 bonfires I have ready to go. Off to one of my sister-in-laws. No kids visiting this year so Jeanne and I will have a quiet dinner with her family. |
Home by my self until the kids come over for a visit..Cooking a small bird..And maybe have a beer..Getting old also.Just recovering from having a case of the gout in my left ankle..Damn painfull.
Happy Thanksgiving All |
Just got home from delivering turkey dinners for less fortunate people :) Something we started a few years back.
Just cooking my own food now it should be ready soon! Minus the famous Eastham turnips I eat last week. Try them if you never have and you will thank me! I wish everyone a Happy Day! Larry that's a huge bird ...lol VB |
Its alot smaller now Peter!:yawn::sleeps:
I have to say I am quite pleased with myself this year! The true flavor of Thanksgiving to me has always been in my Dad's gravy! He just made the most delicious gravy I have ever had! After he passed away it was left to me to try to replicate it and I have tried now for 8 years......this year I nailed it! It came out over the top perfect!!! He would be proud! :jump: |
