I hate to say it but the big Tsunami plastic talkin pencils catch well. A bargain as well, just change out the hooks.

Same thoughts with the entire superstrike line. They cost about $12 on average and are indestructable.
It would take me a lifetime to fillet all the fish I've caught on the 7" needles and little neck poppers.

Yes Ivanputski. I used basically 1 lure for 5 straight years and did very, very well. I even modified some for conditions which warranted other type lures and my alterations worked well enough to call it consistent. Collecting high price plugs is fun but pricey. I do it as much as I can afford. And most of those plugs will catch fish, some better than others.
