Offense wasn't as good as billed and the Defense wasn't as bad as you guys are making out.

The 1st half the Offense was anemic...Brady's timing seemed off and they seemed to have a bit of the Dropsies in the second half. They drove the ball well but couldn't seem to finish it....until the 4th Quarter...and I'm OK with that :hihi:

But they shook it all off and put together a great 2 minute drive in the 4th quarter then stuck it in the end zone on the bonehead return/fumble by the Bills....talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

The defense only looked really bad in the 4th quarter......and that was mostly because of the Thomas "Roughing the Passer" call that kept the touchdown drive alive.....before that they only gave up 10 points...remember one of Buffalo's TD's was an interception return.

And Drew Brees and the Saint's are going to make a lot of Defenses look bad this year.....they are pretty stacked offensively.

And this is Kind of a "Rebuilding" year for the Pats as they try and re-tool the defense...and they will still make the play-offs.

Unlike a certain West Coast team that is having a "Rebuilding" Decade.....kind of like how my wife seems to have her 29th Birthday every year.

Wilfolk, yes. If that's a penalty under the new rules it's going to be a long season for a lot of good defensive teams :doh:

Thomas? He spun Edwards down a good 2-3 seconds after they blew the play dead. They're going to call that every time, even if it isn't the QB being thrown down.

Mayo supposedly out 6-8 weeks. Not good.
