Talk about losing face! That was funny as hell, they had news teams in the streets of Chicago waiting for them to announce the Olympics in Chicago and, what do you know, the committee saw right through him. What a waste of time and money! Flew 2 jets down there for a "kick in the junk"... I guess it was almost worth the cost. I think the world is starting to see Obama as an arrogant punk.

You just did.

Amazing how people would criticize Obama for trying to bring the Olympics back to American soil.

Dead last in the voting.
Thank God we didn't get it. That would have been the next Fed. bailout.

Yep, they say we were leading before he showed up. Many on the committee were upset he jetted in there and jetted out in less than 5 hours. So the score is Tony Blair 1, Vladimir Putin 1, and Obama a big fat zero.

Another thing of note that pisses me off, is Obama spent more time talking to the Olympic committee during that 5 hours, than he has speaking to his top general, Stanley McChrystal, since he appointed him to take charge of Afghanistan. He needs to get his priorities straight.

Olympic committee=five hours worth of his time

Our troops in Afganistan=twenty-five minutes of his time

Priceless interlude on a liberal scale
