Just out of curiosity, are you guys fishing those green needles during the day too, or just the night. I was thinking about heading over (first time fishing the 'chop), but if the car ferry is full...

Lol fish the island non stop man, fish any were you can access. and go to Twin Maples talk to John hell give ya info but his hours are kinda odd this time of year so....

When mentioning the ferry is "full", I'm assuming you mean cars, and not passengers, right? Last I checked, traditional ferry does not take reservations for walk ons... just cars.... Some comments are causing me to second -guess... I was planning on heading there with my bike (bicycle)

Yes Ivan the ferry only takes reservations for VEHICLES so by full he means you and your bike will go.. on a bright note for me I am getting to see my son this weekend and we will be on island sat to trick or treat and fish.. I have not seen him since this summer so I am very excited, and yes he fishes also so hes getting a great deal this weekend we get to spend time together he gets to see his great grandfather and gets to fish the island... Ivan if your gonna be there sat let me know

BRING YOUR OWN FOOD!!! you'll think its april 1st when you see the food prices... IF the market is open... and just try buying a cup of coffee after 4 pm... kind of tough pulling all nighters with no coffee!!!

fished the afternoon friday, and all night, into sat. morning... Strong se wind... water is a bit dirty (sand) in a few spots in close... limited success... was hoping for fish similar to august... I think the fish are definitely still around, just need some more ideal conditions... not saying theyre not there, just saying I didnt find anything too big... ( a few keepers) Stinky ink is still out there til tuesday...

Fished BI from the boat all day this past friday. Hit four locations and all four were productive for big blues and two were productive for stripers for a short window. Felt nice to catch something of size that had stripes on it.

Ahh,, don't worry,,,,, Theres no fish on Block,,,,, Guys are still chasing the tales of years ago....:uhuh:
