I'm disappointed. It will be a long haul through Feb with nothing to look forward to. That two month period after the new year was prime building time. Now it is down to 3 weeks, which kills any chance of building big numbers of plugs to hand away.
|
George....lets see how things go.....if winter is that bad I may invite a few guys over for an afternoon of spinning, swapping, and chewing the fat! Better yet....maybe we can get a few guys together and alternate "shops or man-caves" every few weeks all winter so we can all see how the other half builds???:uhuh:
|
you, slip, and flap are too tall for my shop. Way too many plugs hanging from the ceiling. Guess it will have to be 5' 8" and under at my place.:uhuh:
Again I am with the good doctor on this one I need the extra time. I will plead my case tonite when I drop by Slips. Pretty please works sometimes. |
You would need a step ladder at my shop......either I build a cat walk for you shorties or its just the 6 footers and over! Be good having the under 6 foot crowd though....they can't reach the hanging goodies!:drool:
|
don't bet on that, we are good jumpers. Got lots of experience at that. Can you say spud webb. Besides that is what they invented ladders for.
|
I don't want anything changed on my behalf. Less plugs and more socializing can work fine.

I like that idea, but it may get crowded It doesn't matter to me when we have the plugfest, you guys want to decide? nothing will get decided then, that seems to be the way this site works with that sort of thing. We had no problems before having it in December, I don't see why late Jan. or early Feb. will be a problem. We can always have it in April and make it a flea market at the same time. I'd like to find some time to make a few plugs also, but if I don't it's no big deal. I like exchanging ideas as much as plugs. |

They are all too tall for my shop too... they'd be whackin their noggins of plugs, roda or an air handeler... but they'd all be welcome anyway.. |
I would like to have a few guys over sometime.......lets see how the season plays out!

Slip is absolutely right. It will be March before we agree on a date in the forum :smash: . We used to have this even earlier.
Dates to choose: January 23rd (SABBIT is scheduled on this day and I would love to go but Plugfest takes priority) January 30th (my preference and between AFC championship and Super Bowl - just saying) |
Jan,. 30th sounds good to me John
what is SABBIT? |
See sticky top of main forum!

January 30th it is. All you girly men whiners (Numby & ProfM) better get yur priorities straight and start building.:smash:
You aren't going to get any more big fish this year so give it up face reality and hit the lathe.:uhuh: Since that last 30 pounder I got Thursday night w/ 2naMike I have had dismal fishing so if I can't catch you guys surely are wasting your time in that endeavour (notice the english style spelling of endeavour?) Get busy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I'll be putting up another thread when I can about more suggestions, helpers, etc.
|
I can help Bruce. We will need to put a thread up about the contests and things that people will need time to complete so they can get going? Just a thought.
|
I am going this year!! Whenever!
