Individuals experiencing a mid-life crisis have some of these feelings:

search of an undefined dream or goal
a deep sense of remorse for goals not accomplished
desire to achieve a feeling of youthfulness
need to spend more time alone or with certain peers
They exhibit some of these behaviors:

abuse of alcohol
acquisition of unusual or expensive items such as motorbikes, boats, clothing, sports cars, jewelry, gadgets, tattoos, piercings, etc.
depression
blaming themselves or their partner for their failures.
paying special attention to physical appearance such as covering baldness, wearing "younger" designer clothes etc.
entering relationships with younger people (either/or sexual, professional, parental, etc.)
placing overimportance (and possibly a psychologically damaging amount) on their children to excel in areas such as sports, arts or academics.

I joke that I went through a mini early midlife crisis 2 years ago. I didnt think of it as a bad thing though. I think that sometimes we need to hit the reset button on our behavior patterns to keep life from getting stale, or to offset that which we feel is wrong in our lives so that we can move on.

Love it, enjoy it, embrace the moment and live it up while you still can!

Sounds Like a good investment to me.In 1980 I bought a Harley.I was twenty years old..
It was my only transportation for over a year.I rode in wind rain, and snow..
With no front fender..The girls would jump off the curb to get on the back of it.It was awesome.Went crazy on it for a while then I had to sell it to buy my first work truck.I Laid it down a half dozen times, once doing sixty when the rear tire blue out. From the spot the bike hit the ground to where I ended up was over 60 ft.Right next to a telephone pole.Strippers, booze and bikes don't add up real well so I sold the bike..Bikes are fun to ride but ya have to have eyes around your head. There's to many cars and so much pavement to rub into...
Ride Safe My friend..
