Import some snakes, they'll take care of them real quick!
|
Put dog poo in their holes. They will think something much bigger moved in and abandoned the hole.

so i'd be excavating their main tunnel "the gopher super highway below ground" and setting a bar trap to squish their gut... and killem.... I also was in the habit of feeding snakes into their holes to "drive them out" well ,,one day i get home from some errands and i go check the trap to see if the bar was up and sure enough it was.... cool i say....i got one of those MF-ers finally and i go to grab the trap for a "look see" picking it up with my right hand bending down at the knees... i get it like a foot out of its spot and it shot back out of my hand like a rubber band and scared the living beejeezus out of Me... turns out i caught the gopher snake and he was wicked pissed off with the gopher in his belly HE was STUCK .... |
yea that works as good as filling in their holes. They just move 6" and dig another :smash:
I got snakes too. Killed a over 3'er last year right under my boat. All this stuff is related...the snakes are here for the little stuff like mice and s hitmunks. Quote:

Whats the SCORE?
|
I'm up 3 mice and a chipmunk
I could have sworn I felt bulldozers digging last night. I think they're getting ready to hit my shop now too. I was walking past the front door this morning and I caught one about to run in. I gave him the fake earthquake treatment (I stomped my foot) and he ran like a little sissy |
You need an air riffle with a scope. Give Thomas the nod with a $5 bounty per chipmunk hide...
|
cant you get in trouble for that though?
|
nope

verse and chapter PLEASE...huh?? had someone, who is now long gone, :D that was shooting chipmunks and squirrels outside (that was his story, and he was sticking to it) on his deck and wandering the property line. a "gentlemen" who because of his record could not get an FID, doing this mind you... pellets whistling over my head thru the leaves.. a visit to the local Defective's office, and was told that nothing illegal was taking place.. he is shooting squirrels on his property, with an air rifle that can be bought at any walmart, not an issue.. if you have a verse and chapter on that, I would love to see it, with the source, so I can inform said Lt. Defective... anyways, pellet gun, (22's even better IF you can) rat traps, and D-con... or invite the coyotes back... they knew how to keep the red devils in check. hav a hart traps??? then you got to let them go... where are you going to repopulate them, and WHO wants them? |
Homer's Bucket of death $2.99
Seed $5 Check it once a day for floaters...priceless :hee: peta :bshake: |

hav a hart traps??? then you got to let them go... where are you going to repopulate them, and WHO wants them?[/QUOTE] I just take them across the resivoir and drop them in the woods. They don't come back unless they can swim or find the road. :D |
they'll find the road Dave (booger is proving they can't swim for chit).... kill 'em all... that way you'll save gas luggin the little bastages back and forth....

For Sale: Chipmunk Tails
$5 each |
rat traps and chipmunks
They usually fall prey to peanut butter and bird seed mixed together and place on a set rat trap. Got about ten red squirrels a couple of years ago using that method plus a couple of munks.
|
same bait
i use the hav-a-heart...and it takes less than twenty minutes if they're active...
i just relocated one to the city forest since i had an errand there... he was chewing the crap out of my jacuzzi insulation on the inside so he had to go.... he'd be lookin at me from the bird feeder with STUFFED cheeks goin "WHAT?" not any more |
NOW they're digging UNDER the pool. Large piles of sand in two places....2 burrows clearly evident under the liner. Gdamn %$%$%$%$ers gonna cost me a new pool liner now.
REWARD. $20 a head out of my yard some n get im :smash: |
Dude.. I told ya. air riffle with a scope. Pzzzzzzzzzzip
|
I'M GOING ALL OUT THERMONUCLEAR SHORTLY
Trying to figure out how to remotely detonate the burrows. I'm going to fill them with propane |

PR BUZZ i've used so much freakin water it's ridiculous. They run out of the holes after about 30 seconds and then they're back the next day. This damage is fresh overnight the thing literally moved enough material to make a burrow 5' under the pool. The liner has already sagged into the burrow. Next is 18,000 gallons of water going byebye
I am starting to think that just running a torch line into the burrow for a few minutes even without detonating would be enough to gas the things dead? I couldn't imagine even a chipmunk could stay alive having to breath propane for a few minutes.:hang::wid::behead::rumble::rumble::banano: I've got some leftover 3/4 stone I'm going to put a berm around the outside of the pool more than the stone that's there already after dinner. |
got 2 today
even if you get those two with any method you use... the replacements will be moving in as fast as you eliminate them so you better resign yourself to that fact and stop.....and listen to the master chipmunk catcher of the land hahahahahaha |
