The guy on the quad is Marky, a very good friend of mine from WMass. I was the guy that brought the sausages. Foley, you don't need to worry about sleeping with Matty anymore, as he and Phil Brown are the best of friends, now. You can bunk with me.

Just got back from the week in Vegas...was nice to get into Logan at 6 this AM and feel the chill in the air. Ice is close to come!

I will try to make it out this year. Have no gear, but might comandeer a snomobile to take it all in. As you know, I am all about finding the right vehicles for our fishing trips..... Never done the icefishing.....

You have enough on your plate for this event.... I'm good, as I have been invited to hang with TDF and da boss....

Parking lot is pretty small. Last year we barely got the cars in there. It maybe has parking for 20 cars, and then parking up the access rd. You might do just as well staying in one of the motels nearby...super cheap, like $55 a night.

I've never took to camper out for winter camping I'd like to tho, hey maybe a mid winter trip,a long weekend run to the South for some bass:devil2:

Im 4 miles from the reservoir and my lake froze over completely last night. It may be melting by Sunday, but it looks nice today. I walked out a few feet along the shore. Probably about 2" of really nice black ice. I didn't go over shin deep.

Sunday's gonna wreck it...forecast is good for next week, though! Could have moved it up a week, but MLK weekend works for me.

Rick do you want to do multiple weigh stations again? I'll bring the flag and the digital again. It will help with people making the long hauls dragging fish across the ice. I could weigh and call them in to you or whoever is going to be in charge of keeping tallies.

I'm in and will probably bring along a couple of folks. Which access point will you be useing and where will the weigh in be.
