hey mike, ug, how do i use that plug?

Dude....subsribe to either the Fisherman or On the water Magazine....Learn how to use the the search engines. Vist the tackle shops.

Christian 04-05-2003 06:12 PM

how do you fish them?

normally you should pop a popper.

if you reel those wicked slow you can get them to wobble and sort of swim a little.

definitly get the fisherman and on the water magazines. i get both. i have huge stacks of them going back about 3 years, might look through them and find some stuff to help ya.

Notaro 04-05-2003 06:15 PM

thanks, christain.

Notaro - what fishing books have you read? The reason why I ask that is that the Internet is just one small slice of how you should be learning. You should be reading some books too. PLUS the magazines likt OTW and the Fisherman...

Notaro 04-06-2003 11:52 AM

milton's and not pretty much.
i have seen some freshwater book about cran bait, but no saltwater lure techniques.

Notaro - hit the Library or order some books. You gotta keep your noggin off the PC a little. If you read from a book you can easily go back - pace yourself - and abosorb just as well. There is also something great to be said about having paper 'tween your fingers...

Here is a thread to check out for books - give you an easier read...

The number one thing I can recommend is patience. You will do a disservice to yourself if you cram too much info all at once. Pick a couple things and places and work on those for a year. It will make your success that much better...

I would suggest: Striper Surf - Frank Daignault and The Compleat Surfcaster by C. Boyd Pfeiffer.

off the subject, im sorry for being a pest to y'all guy and u, john. i know i ask a lot of questions and such. i realize that fishing is about self-learning and a personal experience. it's an art and work.
