NICE.. I've actually been just wearing out the CD, Emotion and Commotion, this past month, and the Nessun Dorma, is amazing as well...wonder if Pavrotti would approve.. :uhuh:

WMVY is a gem, for certain.

great solo from a young R. Ford back when I got into this band and have followed him along the way. Wish the quality was better but good enough to make you go buy the album.

found it. Here is one of my favorite solos of all time. Kind of a long tune but the solo at the end is classic, come in around 4:50 if you don't want to spend the time. It is a tune that slowly builds to the solo. . Luv this guitar sound. So happy that someone finally put some of this album on the tube.

Great to see Zappa recognized as one of the greatest. Here is one of my favorites in a totally different mode. Tony Rice is so totally awesome! Check out his solo.

So many awesome posts here. Many not to my taste but I can definitely respect the ability and talent. This is one of my favs. Of a different genre than the others, but it blows me away each time I see it. And it isn't just the flat pickin' of Tony Rice....its the mando of Sam Bush, the fiddle of O'Connor, the banjo of Bela Feck, and the dobro of Douglas. All at the absolute top of their game.

I saw mark O'Connor play with the Dregs quite a long time ago.
I gave Tony Rice his own thread

Saw this band way back in the late 70s and it shaped my way of looking at music and not just listening to what everyone else my age listened to just to be cool or to fit in.
YouTube - Chuck Mangione-Feels So Good (Full Version)
Grant Geissman is the guitar player with Chuck back them.
The guy on sax Chris Vadala was the best I've seen also.
