keep in mind tho

that these most LOVABLE lap kittens
that purrrrr ever so softly when petted
have a purpose in Life..... or Job for Nature

they keep us from being over run by Oak trees
and chipmunkees, deer, and bluejays, red squiriels
all pitch in,,,, to give them a hand...

Problem is...they are not very good at Squirreling away
a private stash of Acorns in a hollowed out tree trunk
saved for a rainy day or a LONG winter.

So nature created them to have a short memory
and they are also paranoid possibly due to an extra
cannabinoid receptor :) in their SHRUNKEN little brains
so they'd "forget" where they buried all the acorns.:uhuh:

So, someday... you need to take a bag of perfect acorns
and a nice tall walking stick and take a friggan hike somewhere
DUDE, Stab the ground in the perfect spots and drop one in.

Be the SQUIRREL... :rotf2:

picture yourself long since passed way, say seventy years in the
future, it is now the year 2081.... As someone reads a thought
on a citizens internal chip @ FB that someone planted these OAKS.

Section 2 states you have to obtain a permit to trap them outside of the normal open season. Gray Squirrel season ended January 2nd. May need to get permission 1st.

Then he has to submit a report annually on how many you took.

I do know that I wouldn't be posting a tally online until I found out 1st :hihi:

I think you are referencing this under part (2):
"No such owner or tenant shall authorize any person, other than a member of his immediate family or a person permanently employed by him, to place traps for the protection of said property other than during the open season, unless such owner or tenant has first obtained from the director a permit authorizing him so to do, which permit the director is hereby authorized to issue in his discretion, unless such authorized person holds a trapping license."

Which states you need a permit to trap them during the off-season, unless you hold a trapping license.

And don't bother trying to ask EP any questions about it. They told me that under no condition and at no time of the year are you allowed to kill a squirrel on your own property or that is in your attic. According to them, regardless of the time of year, you must call a licenses pest control company.

You said kill, MGL says trap... unless I'm completely losing my mind.

There are other, more fulfilling ways to kill than trapping them first.:hidin:

You don't know the half of it. I'm surprised she hasn't poisoned me yet. With all her medical training, I'm sure she knows half a dozen ways to kill me and make it look like a medical condition or accident.

Wasn't trying to argue semantics with you, but the devil is in the details when it comes to how the law is written.

I had one in my house a couple years ago, i grabbed the pellet gun and was going to take care of it. My 65 year old mom asked me to pump it up. One shot, right through the eye. She took care of three that day. They ate a hole through the window sill in a rarely used bedroom, that happened to be where mom and dad were sleeping.
