If anyone would like to cover for an hour or two mid-day today this would be fantastic as I only slept about an hour last night :smash:

Good show, get your bodies down there Sunday (if you weren't there today)!

You don't even have to miss any post on S-B.com, Bossman has it running on the big screen.:rotf2: Relax on the blowup's (couches not dolls) and rest a while. Just don't decide to cut jerky while seated.:smash:

Get your S-B.com stickers: old style or new versions!

striperman36 03-26-2011 02:58 PM

It was a S-B.com convention.

got some good stuff to copy.

Stopped and watched the herring in the middleboro run on the way home

Swimmer 03-26-2011 03:17 PM

5/0 congrats on the 15th to you and the lucky lady. Have fun in Rhody.

The admission line was out the door at a little after 10 this morning. Hopefully for the vendors this resulted in some business.

The casting area had plenty of room to challenge my fly casting abilites and Joe V demonstrated how it should be done. Got to speak with and met some new people. It was a good day.

There were some using surf roda and you could hear things clang off the ventilation system./...

Going to bed...

My daughter and I had a great time. Met JohnR and PT.JudeJoe. JohnR, you need to find some more of those couches to sell at the next show! My daughter pointed out the biggest boat there as the one she wanted next! Then pointed out the State Record Striper as the next one she wants to catch. Didn't see RonZ this year?
Then we took a ride over to M&D's. Didn't get to talk to Mike in the crowd. Hi Mike. Judging by the thinned out shelves he did ok.

One month to go........

Sea of Atlas 03-27-2011 07:03 AM

I bought some incredible plugs from some fantastic people. I saw Gary Soldati speak. I did some recon for new spots on the way home. Worth the drive from Maine.

Anyone know if you can get your MA Saltwater license at the MSBA show? If so do they give an actual license versus the online print out thing??

PRBuzz 03-27-2011 08:53 AM

Parking really SUCKs!

chrisjoe13 03-27-2011 08:57 AM

I had to park in one of the soccer goals that were in the field.

fishbones 03-27-2011 09:42 AM

I lucked out and got parking pretty close to the front. I thought it was a pretty good show. Seemed like fewer vendors than in the past, but still enough to keep me busy for a few hours. It was good to see a lot of people (especially Kenny the elusive Yak Rat) and shoot the bull for a while. I ended up buying some stuff I didn't need, as usual. I also stopped in at M&D's on the way to Plymouth and picked up some sweet plugs and some terminal stuff. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday.

Clogston29 03-27-2011 12:59 PM

Really wish I could've made it. Neice's birthday kept me away.

Ryan White landed a tennis ball attached to his line in two different light fixtures.

I would have quit, myself, after the first. :D

It still didn't compare to the best casting demonstration I saw--when Ron Arra took out a whole chandelier (and the top 6" of his rod) demonstrating a cast at a seminar on Long Island. :behead:

niko 03-27-2011 06:32 PM

we had a good time at the show. as we were walking around a corner charlie cinto came up to us and said he was looking for a kid. we went over by the display of his bass and he gave dominic a wood fish piggy bank. very nice of him, dom was very excited. even more excited after he checked out charlies bass. "dad, that fish is bigger then any striper you've caught"

freebie 03-27-2011 06:39 PM

was great to see you and Dom today Paul. hopefully I get to fish with you guys this year. thanks for the water. was tough getting away from the booth.

striperman36 03-27-2011 07:03 PM

A booth babe's live is a tough one.

Did I win?

5/0 03-27-2011 07:28 PM
