american health care
hey! i just got in some new pills for that... :uhuh:
gee....your feet are swelling up like balloons you say? well we had better switch you over to these pills then.... if you have been taking "these Pills" let us Know because we have a class action suit that you should be part of... A certain amount of loss of life with this medication is to be expected. it is an acceptable risk and loss of life is only 1 % of the population. remember when we said it was okay to take these....sorry we were wrong.... we F'd up ....better not take those anymore. the food and drug administration has reversed it's findings. |

Healthcare in socialized nations is "better" in the sense that fewer people are uninsured, so some people at the very bottom will be better off. Will some of their lives be saved? Yes. Is that the end of the story? No. Because the other thing that happens in socialized countries (that have plans like Obamacare) is that the overall quality of care tends to go down (because doctors get paid a lot less, so fewer smart people go into medicine, so there are fewer docs to go around). Ask someone in Canada how easy it is to go to the doctor when you are sick. Many of those countries have astronomical rates of government-ordered euthenasia, because there simply isn't enough money to treat these people. Some of those countries might have 0% uninsured, but the statistics for things like cancer survival rates, are also worse than we see here, because the overall quality of care will inevitably decline. Obamacare (if it goes through) may push everyone closer to an average level of care, but that new average level of care will be lower than it is today. That's an inevitable result of socialism, it cannot be avoided. Like everything else, liberals think the solution to healthcare is to spend jillions of dollars (someone else's dollars) on it. And like everyhting else, we will learn that money doesn't solve many of these problems. Here is how I know that - Government spending is much higher now than it was 10 years ago, and I don't know anyone who's better off because of it, no one I know. So while the folks at the bottom will be helped, others will be hurt, because of the average drop in care. That will cost some lives. Will the number of lives lost be greater than the number of lives saved? Who knows. And if we judge a political party by wanting to save lives, I'm QUITE comfortable in saying that conservatives care a whole lot more about saving lives than liberals. Think about 4,000 unborn babies a day getting slaughtered (that number is correct by the way, four thousand a day), and 90% of those are done for sheer convenience (no health issues for the mom), and then tell me that conservatives don't care about others... Obama, as a state senator in IL, literally supported a mom's right to kill her baby after the baby was born, and after it was outside the womb. That is monstrous, it is repugnant. I'm not exaggerating one bit...that's what he did, and we elected that ghoul to be president. So please spare me the lecture about his compassion for others. |
