The search continues. These are some of Dave's plugs I got this winter.

At least 4 different danny shapes. From low fat to fat to extra fat.

can't wait to fish one of those slopeheads and keep the other for the Bassmaster museum.

Any other Bassmaster plugs I can shake loose out there in SB land?

Nebe 03-05-2014 08:00 AM

I am going to be selling my entire plug collection soon.. There's quite a few of Dave's plugs in there.. Sold in one lot.

Rob, if you end up with a duplicate or 2 you don't want, let me know.
Thanks

wader-dad 03-05-2014 09:59 AM

Eben- I hope you are just selling all of your backups to the backups and you still are going to be out there fishing when you get a chance.

I am interested and maybe if it is too much money for just me, maybe Paul S and I can work together on it.

Selling it all. I am a yak fisherman now and the tube and soft plastic reign supreme with some exceptions.

Rob, there is this guy named Rich who used to have some. He would be happy to get rid of them if he still has them. HE is out of Fixters though, or so I hear.

Well that was a wild and crazy thing for me to do. Keeps these plugs in the SB family and away from the SOL's

You are going to have to help me figure out who made some of them.

here is all I have left
all the times dave and I made plugs together and fished, this is all i have of his stuff. A one of a kind hand poured rubbah, that actually caught fish, I fish the plugs also like you, just like I fish my gary2 plugs that are worth hundreds of dollars.

pick what you want please
that needle means a lot to me
thanks

Slipknot 03-09-2014 07:34 AM

I can also help ID a lot of those plugs you scored

wader-dad 03-09-2014 09:18 AM

sure Bruce- I would love to keep that needle but we can work out a trade. It was hard to tell from the photo of the mother load of plugs Eben posted up but I hope there are a few other Bruce May plugs in there.

I will take you up on your offer to ID some. Eben and I are going to meet up go through them soon I hope.

Nebe 03-09-2014 10:37 AM

There is at least one more of Bruce's plugs in there.. A darter.

Peter-maybe you are right or Maybe I just kind of suck at catching big bass and figure if I find the time and fish enough of Eben's plugs that have some mojo and are proven catchers - I will catch a 40.
