What a great day/date to post this.
USS Arleigh Burke (DDG-51), she's 505 feet of fighting steel. This pic was taken from the fantail of the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) as we were coming alongside to fuel up. Seas were 20+ feet and we were LOW on fuel. |
A plug I spent too much time making.

Mine is of some plugs I made.

Mine was made with the South Park avatar builder (I still wasn't into full head-shaving at the time). John then hacked it when I got my first IT job, and I never had the wherewithal to fix it.

had a couple of weeks of massive blue blitz's (sp?) and had got tired of winching them in. Went from that to no hook plugs to blasting a card of pics and this was in the corner of one of them. Took a while to get the bait to pose -

John R took it away and left the symbol that is there now...... :whackin::whackin::whackin::whackin::whackin: |

heres a description of mine..
VMFA-531 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I adopted their symbol because it reminds me of the love of going forth in the dark of the night under the stars.. "death beckons" so to speak.. |
