I USED TO TAKE:

codeine ..... i had enough of it to medicate an ARMY
percs .... WAY way to many
Ibuprofen and or motrin 800's same thing (drug)
naproxen = Aleve but i had the prescription strength

now i'll take NONE of it... as Nsaids cause strokes
or heart attacks... stress on the heart... liver

and i say: Use them wisely :uhuh:

i am required to take a daily aspirin with my 3 blood pressure meds however ,
it is an NSAID but the mildest one of all
and does a surprisingly good job relieving pain i've noticed

Today i will Be injected with a Nuclear Isotope
so they can take a 3D picture of my Heart...
followed by a stress test chemically induced
then another round of pictures and more isotope.

Last July had chest pains,,, bending, winching boat in etc.. Put myself on Tums and it helped. Pain got so bad drove to emergency room and diagnosed with acid reflex. As precaution I set up a stress test with a cardio guy we know. Well for the next three weeks every morning at the gym I would be sweating bullets, chest pain pounding away and O D ing on Tums.... :smash:
Flunked stress test and received a stint three days later. Phew! did I dodge a bullet. Hoping my luck hadn't run out I bought a bunch of scratch tickets,,, it ran out! :)

My back is... well my sacroiliac is shot, no cartilage, bone on bone and spinal chord damage.I walk with a cane (lurch and waddle). The pain that I experienced when the "degenerative lumbar disease" first struck me was unbearable (disintegrated and ruptured disks). I use Bayer arthritis formula. Helps a little.
