my tomatoes are all cold hardened now and already need bigger

I saw my 1st mosquito's of the year last night.

I had a couple in my 3 season porch about 2 weeks ago then saw another one in the yard on Sunday.

this year reportedly, there will be giant mosquitos

we'll see, I expect record cold before we are done. take a look at the midwest now

noticed that and just a week after the anniversary of the most tornadoes
breakin out in a single day too....

makin me nervous

Best friend lives in Tulsa. Tornado alley. Some of those storms are scary. I got to enjoy one a bunch of years back but lucky it did not touch down in our vicinity. Wall cloud was very impressive.

watching the dual-pol radar today, saw many areas of large hail through out KS all the way over to NY

My daughter heading to Tulsa Monday for a few work days. First thing I told her was tornado season!

while scooping soil out of the wheelbarrow
this afternoon for transplanting red peppers
i unearthed a little toady prolly a wood toad variety
and turned it loose in the greenhouse for bug control.

don't forget last frost around here is in May

I'm with bill on that!! Left my Christmas cactus outside Monday morning and froze half the plant off.
