It's a sick,sick society, Rav. A lot of the fault is due to the crap that comes out of Hollywood movies,
ridiculous music, violent video games, drug availability, porn everywhere, lack of decent sports figures to look up to, a 53% divorce rate, two working parents, or availability of only one parent, a lack of spiritual guidance, and on and on.
Total regression too the worst side of human nature.

that Hollywood is in Part to blame... because there are those among the
the youths that take the violence themed entertainment movies as reality.

i think incarceration is acceptable but surely it isn't a preventative strategy
because in the words of violent Gang members

I think we need a reverse Soilent green
Plan where groups of young kids are fed information of good scenario's at a very rapid rate
right into their brains to offset the killer instinct.

Recently a kid took the things he absorbed from Amityville Horror and proceeded to carry them out at home
killing his whole family then he drove
his Dad's car to school the next day exactly how he said he would two weeks prior.
The following day he took his own life to complete the massacre.

Yes, they are bombarded with this garbage 24/7 and the need to be accepted
drives them into it. On top of that the girls are just as bad.

One day I was waiting for some take out along with 4 High School girls talking about one of their female classmates using every obscene word in the book including racists remarks. I said "nice talk girls".
They all gave me this look like who do you think you are? I said, "you all need an attitude adjustment or your not getting anywhere in this world". Maybe the way things are they'll fit right in. :(

in California the "F" word was the 3rd or fourth word of every sentence.....
so much so
that when i returned back to the EAST Coast i had to totally re-establish
my speech habits that i grew up with.
