...and it isn't that there is a huge increase in Hate Crimes.....its that there is a huge increase in Reporting hate crimes in the news.Everything I have seen indicates an increase in the amount of hate crimes and not an issue w/the reporting.

there have always been hate crimes....and sadly there always will be. But just because they are happening post election doesn't make them Trumps fault.

I agree there always has been and always will be but there has been an increase since Trump. So when Trump says he wants to ban Muslims, you don't think that causes some a$$holes to commit a hate crime against a Muslim?

Just like I don't say Video Games are the cause of Violent Crimes and Internet Porn is the cause of rape.

I read the link....and....Bias Incidents are not Hate Crimes. Again, somebody calling you a racial slur is not a hate crime....its someone being an Ignorant Racist A$$hole.....buts its not a Hate Crime.

and I'm sorry....but all the colleges that are reporting them I completely discount because that is just SJW centrals reporting that their feelings were hurt.

Paul, it's a safe bet that some bigots feel emboldened by Trump. That's not his fault. Hilary got the endorsement of communist groups, and communism has killed tens of millions of people. No one would say she is connected with that.

Also, some of the actual "crimes" have been faked. Probably a small percentage. But how the hell do you defend against that?

No, actually yelling something may be a hate crime. There is freedom of speech but many people have been arrested for yelling things at people. I forgot who I responding to so in retrospect I should have added a "etc".

Those being charged are the ones that actually filed a police report in conjunction with it. they are being arrested for filing a false report.

that doesn't stop people from making false accusations and then posting about it on Social media and letting the rest take its course.
