I guess to some it is more of a moral violation than it is a legal violation. If it was a case where the dnc was operating with a rigged system then my impression is there would be something illegal had taken place. It would be unfair I suppose to punish the party any more than they have punished themselves...? The bar has been set very low in this case and the loyalists seem to be following the lead.

That's a brilliant line. They are in a very low point in their history. I think the Whigs and Tories have more elected positions at the moment. The GOP even made big strides here in the People's Republic Of Connecticut.
