Damn progressive Left is at it again.


WEST POINT, N.Y. — The United States Military Academy at West Point removed a motto from a spirit flag used by the school’s football team because of its connection to hate groups.

The letters GFBD, which stand for “God Forgives, Brothers Don’t,” were emblazoned on a skull and crossbones flag the academy says had been used since the mid-1990s to emphasize teamwork, loyalty and toughness.

The administration at the academy was made aware that the phrase also is associated with extremist groups. The change was made in early September after an internal investigation

I applaud them for doing it but is it more of "ripping every monument down, every freedom, and every liberty" and will the US flag be next?

No it isn’t, it’s a spirit flag. Some cadet made the design for his team a few years ago and they’ve been using it. It has absolutely no historical significance what so ever.

20 years on the flag. So why did nike deserve more criticism for not releasing a sneaker that had the Ross flag on it than WP for altering their flag?

good to see you took my advice and are expanding your vocabulary

My response back was why use a different word to describe the same behavior.

For some (hopefully MOST) of us, displaying the American flag in any other manner than how it should be displayed is an insult.

Many people don't understand that t-shirts, jackets, pants, towels, plates, napkins or cups are no place for the American flag.

If you want to go that route, maybe try the same approach with the flag from another country IN THAT COUNTRY, and see what response you get.

NIKE is just out for the publicity and the money this kind of stunt will bring. Hell, is NIKE even an American company???
