I am not going to go back through credit card accounts over the years to find out how much I have paid them for Office, 365, and other services. I see where you are coming from relative to hotmail being free, but the point here is about censorship.

We could play the “what’s the creepiest thing Ross did to get banned by Microsoft” game ... wait ... actually ... that’s a bad idea.

Given the amount of crap that goes uncensored, you either did something really out of line, someone accessed your account and did or there is a mistake. I don't really understand why you think it is censorship of you didn't do anything. What are they censoring? If you had paid them for a service, I think you would have some sort of recourse.

This is such crap. At least tell me what the "serious violation" is... This is the new Amerika

unbelievable.....

Was bored and pissy, so I fired off an email to channel 4's I-Team of investigative reporters to see if this might be in their lane. Of course there is a 0.001 percent chance of finding out I DID commit a serious violation of their service agreement, or code of conduct (since they have used both).... but it would be well worth at least finding out what it was I did! Seriously, I have racked my brain and the only thing I can come up with is sending an email to some company in China, six weeks after they debited my account, but had not delivered the item, and calling them scammers...

Hmmm. They were happy enough to send the following just before the account got closed...

Ross, that wouldn't do it. I am a Microsoft 365 customer and I bought some coins last year that turned out to be counterfeit. I went crazy on FB, called them every name in the book (the Company was from China). I never got shut down.

The news idea is a good one. You should make sure they agree to not air what you did wrong if they find out what it is though, could be like a boomerang coming around and whacking you in the back of the skull.
