Saw this. Just wanted to make sure it is entered into the conversation when there are some who want to call him a great president.

the gop has half the senate, almost half the house, and for awhile has had a majority of state legislatures and governorships. we have a much deeper bench than the left. who can they run in 2024 if Biden can’t? Much of the gop has denounced him as a person. Guys like Dan Crenshaw have said 1,000 times they don’t like his style. GS said he was frightened at what the gop has become. the gop, under Trump, put all time records of blacks to work, so i was making a sarcastic comment. you think the left won’t bow to socialism? AOC and her ring are a very powerful force within that party. They aren’t running the party. But they aren’t written off as fringe looks either. That party is lurching way to the left, the democrat party is completely unrecognizable as the party that gave us bill clinton ( who i liked) who balanced the budget by cutting taxes and kicking huge numbers of people off welfare, none of whom needed to be on welfare because they all went out and got jobs. They just needed someone to tell them they had to. “get something done for the greater good”. right before the pandemic, i don’t know how much more Trump could have done to help the country. i hate the guy, but I, and much of America, liked what he did. I think if we nominate him again it would be a complete, unmitigated disaster. i don’t believe his ego allows him to see that. i believe, and hope, that the kingmakers within the party see it. I completely agree it’s 100% time to get off the Trump train. I hope they have the brains to do it. I think if we nominate a mature, kind person who will advocate for the same policies as trump without acting like a 10 year-old bully, they’d be tough to beat in stable times. Covid may make stability elusive. i don’t think americans like open borders, men competing in physical contests with women, defunding the police, growing numbers are getting tired of being told that we, and more importantly our children, can’t live normal lives. Humor Jim Ross is willing to reach across and discuss, not much of that left in politics

John McCain chose Barack Obama and George W. Bush -- the two men who kept him from the White House -- to eulogize him and didn't want Trump to attend his funeral.
I’d say he would have been standing shoulder to shoulder with Liz Cheney and Adam Kinziger, roaring about gutless Senators and voted as his wife did. Just what policy is the Republican Party for, other than being the party of None and Trump Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
This is another issue with the GOP we spent trillions of dollars in Afghanistan and they never lifted a finger in protest
Nor did the Democratic’s but now since Biden a Dem wants to spend money in the dear old USA magically the Republicans are against it .. only because owning and blocking the libs get them votes. What happened to MAGA I guess it’s was just a campaign slogan for Republicans only the rest of America need not apply Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

pork, is something the opposition party will always squawk over. not much to see there as spence says every time something paints dems negatively. democrat senator manchin also says he’s opposed to it. the most moderate, democrat, one of the only who ever goes his own way, is opposed to it, or so he says now. you’re saying if you are pro america, you should never oppose any federal spending? sure sounds like that’s what you’re saying here. o sense. you never stop complaining about trumps tax cuts, but it’s a character flaw to oppose biden’s tax cuts? it’s only ok when you do it? american citizens who work for tesla, should be delighted at the prospect of having their federal income taxes used to give tax credits to ford? Can’t they just pass a true infrastructure bill that has nothing but infastructure spending in there? no one opposes that. are you saying that democrats “lifted a finger” to oppose any if trumps spending? come on. his tax cuts? Making decisions based on right from wrong, when voting in the US Congress, is clearly not exclusive to either party.... This is at the core of the problem in our current state of affairs. We have serious problems when Nikki Minaj or Kim Kardashian hold more sway in such vital decisions among such a large demographic in America. I do not believe AOC has nearly the power her media coverage would have/desire you to believe. Jim, your "pork" comment is spot on. The infrastructure bill should have absolutely nothing attached nor hanging on its coattails. |
Joe Manchin is a Senator from a state that ranks last in infrastructure, 48th for economy, 47th for healthcare and economic opportunity, 45th for education.
Just who is he representing, his constituents are Americans that would stand to gain the most from what the Democrats propose. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

and Senator Sinema from AZ also says she won’t back that bill. I guess Pete will tell us why AZ doesn’t count either.
There are 2 of 50 democrat senators who are capable of acting on their own ( not a lot of republicans capable of that either), and both are opposed to the bill. but it’s only the republicans fault. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

Back to before the train wreck
“The focus on Milley misses a larger point: He was just one of a half-dozen senior military and civilian officials who took similar unusual steps during the final months of Trump’s administration to prevent what they feared might be a catastrophe.” Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

Seems like you’re saying every single thing democrats do is righteous and honest, and every single thing everyone else does is bad. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

And Joe Manchin has a dream that he will be reelected, it's unlikely. |

If you have a 4 year degree, it doesn’t seem to be doing you a while lot of good in terms of civility or honest thinking. Manchin was elected senator in 2010, 2012, and 2018. He was governor before that. You don’t think he’s going to win in 2024, do you think he’ll lose to a republican, or will he lose in a primary to a more liberal democrat. Always looking for insults, poor victim, no issues, just the facts.
White voters without a four-year degree made up 69 percent of voters there in 2020, according to census data, the highest in the country is a fact. They elected TFG. I think Manchin will lose in the general to a trumplican, so does he. He's considered running for governor again and he's 74 and will be 77 in the next election cycle. Something will happen, lots of political games coming |

and they elected Manchin, who is a pretty liberal democrat. You’re concerned with Manchins age, but not Biden’s? People have been saying for ten years that Manchins time is up. i don’t like him, i’d like to see him lose, but he’s popular there. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

If Manchin is a liberal Democrat in your view, because he voted with the Biden agenda items is Bernie then more right wing? |
