Hey everyone! Big thanks again for coming overtoday and making a schweet day ruining wood and showing off your stuff! It never ceases to amaze me!

Also huge thanks to both Slip & Slip's better half, Melissa. Slip did a tremendous job putting today together and Melissa truly helped out and did a great job runnin' the table (and bringing the brownies  ). Everyone give a big applause to The Slips...

I'm trying to get my kid to go to sleep so no long-winded posts from me today :rollem: but I do want to thank Got Stripers, #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, Newell Guy, Backbeach Jake, Gloucster, Tim Su, errr, WeeWee :laughs: , Flaptail and the folks over at OTW, Armand, and everyone else that donated to the door prizes and raffle table... I know there were some stoked people after winning that stuff. Thanks to BM & Slip for the demonstrations for actually turning wood. Thanks to those that helped set up and clean up...

I also want to sincerely thank all of you people that are such hot chits to make this site what it is, just a nice, comfortable, honest place to hang out and talk fishing, get together, and schtuff. You all deserve a round of applause too!

And great food too! We never go hungry at one of these...

Thanks!!!!

ps - thanks to all those that put stuff in my personal stash :hihi: = 'specially Christian! and that work by Eben was schweet too. The squid was unreal

"Ho in training" award goes to Missing Link Jr - he tried to grab ALL the Ledge Runner Baits off the raffle table :laughs:

RI Popper 01-03-2004 09:27 PM

i like number 4 lol

rocketman 01-04-2004 12:05 AM

Thanks to Missing Link for posting my pics. That #4 was from the plugswap made by Chumbucket. Sposed to look like a torpedo I think. BTW, there is a plug in the box marked Katie that Canalman is supposed to pass along. ;)

BigFish 01-04-2004 12:34 AM

Slingah...nice picture!

Slingah....looks like they got your bad side in that picture......the front!:laugha:

Slingah 01-04-2004 12:44 AM

u a freak

Notaro 01-04-2004 01:44 AM

Joe, thanks a lot. The picture of me being sleepy, I looked stupid.:p
Nice pictures, man. I am looking forward to the fluking you mentioned, right? Hope you had a good time.

Clammer, when we spoke, I wasn't completely understood what you were saying. Trolling, what the hell was I thinking?:smash: Yes, fishing in RI in May SOUNDS AWESOME!

JohnR, thanks for the help with the ledgerunner and GS, your plastics look promising. Thanks for the site, JohnR. Bill was right about one thing here, there are many GOOD FISHERMEN and FISHERWOMEN to learn from and such more.

Slingah and BigFish, it was nice meeting ya and hopefully we can hook up soon. If I happen to nail a 40 lber, I got BF here to hold it for me since he is so tall and my rod is ten feet long.:D

Christain, your plugs are nice.

BM, when I get the photos developed, you might not like what you will be seeing.

Too many names for me to mention...

MacoJoe, I am thankful for the fluking tips you gave me today on jigging, rigging up, and etc. They are helpful.

Notaro 01-04-2004 02:40 AM

So is it worthy for me to spend $170 of tackles and lures!

Got Stripers 01-04-2004 06:48 AM

Wife reminded me the toolhouse cookies were on a glass platter:(, I said are you sure. Don't suppose anyone ended up with that off the long table.

fishweewee 01-04-2004 08:24 AM

I had a blast ... and it wasn't from the chili. :hihi:

Seriously, it was great meeting up with the familiar faces and ... very nice to finally meet some people who up until yesterday I have only "met" with online...including BigFish, NIB, Goosefish, Missing Link and Missing Link Jr., BlackEye, Throwing Timber, CAL, Backbeach Jake, and Tagger, amongst many others. My short-term memory is going ...

chris L 01-04-2004 08:56 AM

pay ? im a salary employee . just a little comp time is all .

slip imagine the 3 of us staying in the same house ? it would be like a cartoon with the house expanding and contracting with each snore .

it was the yellow sock right ? or was it left ? socks always confuse me !

karl hows it going old bud ?

NIB its always a pleasure to meet a real NJite . go Islanders oops Devils

wee wee how was the ride ?

fishweewee 01-04-2004 08:59 AM

Chris, ride wasn't bad at all. No summer beach traffic to contend with, and I didn't need to :bc: :bc: out from packing up the truck for some stupid fishing trip. :smash:

p.s. I would have slept in the truck. :hihi:

Slipknot 01-04-2004 09:52 AM

hey NIB, you're a good sport :btu: You should do a search here and go back a year nad a half and find bloocrabs' cartoon of the Sawmill :D classic

Nice meeting you Notaro. Ribs were AWESOME

The day went by too fast.

steelhead 01-04-2004 10:00 AM
