Hey Flaptail I see you left a SPOT.... :D

maddog2020 02-25-2004 07:54 AM

Can you tell me who made that yellow darter just above that unrigged mystery popper w/ the black tiger stripes?

I have some plugs like yours that I haven't a clue who made. I guess I gotta line them up and take some pics. ;)

I'm a newbie at these old plugs. Wish the lures could talk and tell me cool stories. :)

Bliz 02-25-2004 08:29 AM

You got the right idea Flaptail! :btu:

So, when are you going to get these plugs out so that they can be seen 1st hand?...

piemma 02-25-2004 08:33 AM

Boy oh boy, nice job on all the plugs. When the hell do you find time to fish?

capesams 02-25-2004 08:36 AM

let them out? the only light those will see is the light that will come through his windows.

piemma 02-25-2004 08:38 AM

Some of the other swimmers are Murats also. Charlie's son-in law, Dave was a good friends of mine. I was a pall bearer for him when he died in 94. He has a surfcaster, hooked up, carved into his headstone.Called the swimmers the Conneticut Yankee

Bliz 02-25-2004 08:41 AM

What a shame...

They sure are purdy! :)

Flaptail 02-25-2004 09:12 AM

capesams 02-26-2004 05:56 PM

I think most collectors all have the same ones, what I want to know is where are all the molds that these were made from? alot have brass rings that were put on them made from brass water pipe.....I have a huge box of them, but have yet seen one mold....anyone?

Flaptail 02-26-2004 06:08 PM

That's a Stan Kuzia like Slip said.
