bloocrab 03-29-2004 10:56 AM

Mike...

I know there's a decent thread on squidding somewhere on this data-base. I'm not sure if JohnR lost it when he got his new server....seeing as how it keeps acting up...:laughs:

I tried using the "Search" feature with numerous "squid" titles, but it doesn't come up. Sorry bud - I'll check again later.

Mike,
It depends somewhat on what kind of jig you have. If you have one that imitates a little fish you don't need bait. Just use a light rod and drop the jig in the water. Most times you can see the squid jump on.

weren't we all supposed to meet in jerusalem last june for some squiddin? me and vic were the only ones there

The Dad Fisherman 03-29-2004 04:47 PM

I'd be interested in taking a ride down there and trying this. When does this all usually take place? If anyone wants to hook up let me know?

MakoMike 03-29-2004 05:19 PM

Blackeye,
I know I talked about it last year, but everytime I got ready to go it rained :( I'm not worried about me melting, but a cold May rain ain't gonna do my genset or lights any good. Hopefully, we'll find a night this year.
Dad,
I'll post something when we get closer to the time.
