That is a very interesting shape. Is there is history behind it? manufacturer inspired? Something you developed? Long, narrow, with the broadest part towards the back with that thin taperd tail. Is that shaped derived for a particular action? Or type of water?

lips r home grown...right now I don't know of anyone making them:(
the danny is something I spun out one nite a year or so ago....just foolin around...that's the lrger one out of the two sizes I make. wasn't anything special....but works well;) |

Thanks CS. May have to try my hand at that shape. I like it. Does the wide shoulder being shifted to the rear of the plug tend to make it roll a bit more?

CS, might i sneek a peek at that vet pic sometime, i've been real curious about them cuttyhunkah's for awhile. couple of old timers(even oldah than u!) ;), i know, have filled my head with a lot of stories of those :cool:

top is a normal size squid around 7" give or take,,,bottom isonly about 4"
