There are really no words to say that can bring relief to your broken heart Mike, that I can say. We had a close brush here several weeks ago and the thought of the possibility was something I just could not imagine. Knowing what I felt at that time and your words of encouragement meant so much to me and for that I will be forever gratefull and now even more so since I didn't know of your wife's battle. We are all crying with you now and unashamedly so. God's hands are upon your shoulders and through him and your family here on the site may you find solace and peace somehow. She is by your side as well and will be until it's your time and you will be together again. With my deepest sympathies, your friend, Steve Shiraka and family. :(

Mike:

My wife and I are so sorry for your loss. I wanted my wife to read John''s words about her to see what type of "family" we have here plus it was a heartful tribute of sorts to her. She truly sounds like a very special and unique person. Cherish your memories because you will have those forever. Be strong my friend.

fishsmith 07-25-2005 02:24 PM

Those are nice words Clammer - I think your wife had a good catch in you, may she rest in peace.

leptar 07-25-2005 02:32 PM

My condolences to you and your family.

nightfighter 07-25-2005 02:37 PM

She was ALL class, Mike, even though I only met her and saw her but three times. I remember talking with you that night on Cutty about the battles you both were going through. Cutty trips seem a distant memory now, which means you got to spend a bit more of your lives together than we thought back then. We all are thankful for that.

If you want to get away just for some alone time, we got the room and you know where you are welcome. Lord knows you ain't been up dis way in a while.

Best

Ross

Clammer take a moment and listen to this song. I don't think words can express what alot of guys feel on here today but I hope this helps you to hold your head up a little more.

Mike I never knew Sheila but like alot of guys have said here you're one of the good guys and she must have been one heck of a lady. I'm leaving tomorrow for Maine on work and unfortunately won't be able to make any of the arrangements due to where I'll be but rest assured I'll have you in my thoughts this week.
