In my past experience, no one can tell how it's gonna be. Sometimes they go by on the outside. Saw it happen a number of years.
Mullet run in SoCo around the 15 of Sept. then it's hope for the peanut bunker to show up and stick. if they move quickly the fish will move with them. I prefer to stick with the places i know and not chase the birds and the reports. Bass key on the amount of daylight so they have a set schedule they have been doing for 1000 years. it doesn't happen early or late. It happens pretty much on the same schedule it always has. |
Starting to look good! :wiggle:

I am seriously praying for an epic Fall. This Spring and Summer has been tireing and dissapointing to say the least. My boys are coming to Truro the first week in Oct. and I pray for a trip for them to remember...

Ton of bait around. we need a fairly non-stormy fall though... seems like out of the last 5 years or so I can remember, the stormy falls, the bait stayed offshore... maybe it was just where I fished...
