It's a family effort - and Johnny Jr will be just fine :btu:

Great News!!! Congrats to all. And best of luck to all!!!

For those of us that can't get to the shows, where and when can I get hold of some (or one) of those beauties!

BigFish 03-28-2008 01:12 PM

You know....having met and talked with John Jr. and his Mom (Jessica) a few times, I can't help but think about what a fine young man I think he is! His Dad would be quite proud of him for sure!:)

BassDawg 03-28-2008 02:38 PM

WELL DONE!!!

Thanks to the Pt Jude bro's and tatoo for being more than a friend to John, Jess, and John Jr. It is this type of love that often goes unappreciated and unmentioned, and in yer collective humility you'd prolly rather nothing be said; however, it is WELL WORTH mentioning!

Huge Kudos to Jess for encouraging her son to do whatever he thought was right and allowing him the time to come to such a huge decision. Also, for your part in keeping HABS "in tha family" now and in the future.

John Jr, CONGRATULATIONS!! Excellent work and as i am sure you know ~your father would be very proud of you whether you chose to continue his legacy, or not. Thank you VERRRRY MUCH for stepping into yer father's shop and we eagerly anticipate more of the HAB'S Line, as YOU see fit.

This is yer baby now, and i can't wait to see anything new you would like to introduce, in due time, as you add your own ideas to the well established name, HAB'S, which is synonymous for BIG FEESH and a much, much Bigger Man  .

luds 03-28-2008 03:21 PM

They look good too -- I saw one at the SWE the other day, and I couldn't tell the difference, except for the "jr" on the signature.

Way to keep it going -- Good luck.

Wish I could have made it up this year Joe. Hopefully next year - heck I may have a booth by then if things keep up.

Jeff inspired me to take some of the gazillion feathers I had lying around from my fly-tying days and make some feather tails. My lab Emma wants to go hunting :)

I am glad to see the legacy continue - as Neil Young said - "The King is gone, but not forgotten." All the best to John Jr. and team!
